Asian Spicy Tuna Salad
This dish is a delectable and appetizing starter that you can serve to your friends and relatives. The ingredients include a can of solid white tuna, a teaspoon of grated fresh ginger root, ½ teaspoon diced green bell pepper, three tablespoons chopped onions, ¼ teaspoon curry powder, ¼ cup mayonnaise and ½ teaspoon fresh lemon juice. Flake the fish in a medium size bowl. Heat a teaspoon of olive oil in a skillet. Add chopped onions, ginger root, curry powder and green pepper. Stir for two minutes. Remove from heat and transfer in a clean bowl. Add the mayonnaise and lemon juice. Mix thoroughly. Serve with biscuit or bread.
Steamed Tuna
For main course, you can serve steamed tuna to your family. The dish contains a pound of tuna, a tablespoon of vegetable oil, ¼ cup sliced green bell pepper, ¼ cup sliced onions, a clove of garlic, a teaspoon of salt, two teaspoons dried rosemary and ½ cup ketchup. Pour vegetable oil in a pan and heat over medium fire. Add the onions, garlic and green bell pepper. Add the ketchup, salt and rosemary. Stir the mixture constantly and simmer. Sesame Seared Tuna
The dish contains four tuna steaks, ¼ cup soy sauce, a tablespoon of Japanese sweet wine, a tablespoon of honey, two tablespoons sesame oil, a tablespoon of rice wine vinegar, ½ cup sesame seeds, a teaspoon of wasabi paste and a tablespoon of olive oil. Mix sesame oil, honey, the Japanese sweet wine and soy sauce in a bowl. Transfer half of the mixture in another bowl and add the rice vinegar. Put sesame seeds in a clean plate. Dip the steaks in the remaining soy sauce mixture. Coat the steaks with sesame seeds. Heat a pan over medium fire. Pour olive oil and sear each side of steaks for a minute. Serve the dish with the wasabi paste and the rice vinegar mixture.
