Preheat oven to 225 degrees Fahrenheit. Heat oil in a pan over medium fire. Season the meat with pepper and salt. Brown the meat in the pan. Transfer brisket in a plate and pour the wine in the pan. Heat the wine for a minute and add the onions and garlic. Stir and cook for five minutes. Return the meat to the pan and add carrots, parsnips, tomatoes, water, thyme, chicken stock, rosemary, juniper berries and bay leaf. Wait until the dish simmers. Easy Beef Brisket with Vegetables
In this pleasant tasting viand, you need four pounds beef brisket, two tablespoons all purpose flour, a teaspoon of onion powder, a teaspoon of garlic powder, a teaspoon of dried oregano, ½ teaspoon kosher salt, three pounds potatoes, a pound of carrots and eight ounces mushrooms. Aside from these, you need a head garlic, ½ large sweet onion, a package of onion soup mix, a package of mushroom gravy mix, a cup of tomato juice, a cup of water and a large oven cooking bag.
Put the all purpose flour in the cooking bag. Season the meat with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper and oregano. Place the meat in the cooking bag. Add the onions in the bag.
